1,024 Ways To Win. The slot’s played on a grid with four rows and six reels. There aren’t any set paylines you can win on. Instead, the slot uses the all-ways-win system. This means that to win, you simply need to land enough matching symbols on adjacent reels. The line of symbols needs to begin on the leftmost reel. Every spin offers you a thousand and twenty-four ways of winning.
Symbols. The slot’s low-paying symbols are six card ranks (A-9), each one of which is a different color and has a patterned design on it. The four more valuable symbols are African animals. This Savanna based slot focuses primarily on the animals found on the terrain, with giraffes, rhinos and zebras found on the reels. However, the word King in the title relates to the King of the Jungle, the Lion, who stands proudly on the reels, being the top paying symbol of the game. The slot has a number of unique features, including larger than normal reels, many more ways to win than you’d normally find and an original take on the wilds during the feature itself, where huge wins can be made possible.
The Savanna King slot has a distinctly African feel – this coming from the drum that both plays throughout your time at the slot and which also features as the background to the ‘spin’ button. The white backed reels take up the majority of the screen, with lone trees towering either side, while rocks are strewn about the bottom of the reels, the control panel superimposed above. The slot has a vibrant air; this due to the combination of the animals and the different coloured playing card symbols all featuring animations when forming part of a win line.
Upon starting the game, the first thing you’ll notice is the oversized reels, each of these featuring four symbols as opposed to the much more standard three. Another key difference is the fact that the way you’ll win is somewhat distinctive. This is due to the ‘All Pays’ system, where you’ll win when landing symbols on adjacent reels, regardless of the position on the reels. You’ll need at least three symbols on adjacent reels from left to right for the majority of the symbols, but the top paying ones only require two or more. Perhaps the most important symbol of the whole game is the wild one. This only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 and will substitute for any other symbol on the reels apart from the scatter. This wild symbol takes on much more of a leading role in the feature of the slot.
This feature is activated by landing the title scatter symbol on the reels 3 or more times – this symbol also paying an immediate cash win of 80 coins for 3 scatters, 400 coins for 4 and 800 coins for 5.
The feature of the slot is the ‘Savanna Stampede Free Spins’ round. Here the number of free spins you’ll gain is dependent upon the number of scatters used to land the feature. For the minimum 3 scatters, you’ll have 8 spins, but 4 or 5 scatters will give you 15 or 20 spins. During these free spins, every time a wild lands on the reels, it will animate and reveal a multiplier of 2x, 3x or 4x. Any wins making use of the wild will be subject to the multiplier.
